Natwest - Saturday Cash Deposit

Hi i deposited cash into my Natwest Account on Saturday and when i signed into my online account it showed the deposit. However when i tried to use the money for an online transaction it failed!!!!!

I have read on other sites that it does not really go into your account until Monday?????

What time on Monday will i be able to do this transaction???

Need help as was expected to pay on Saturday!!!!!

If you credit the account after close of business friday or over the weekend, it is correct the funds will not clear until the monday. It depends what method you used as a deposit, these funds should be available to yourself from open of business which is 2.30am. Again, it does depend on what method you used to pay funds in.

Hi thanks for the quick reply :T

I paid in with cash (withdrew from another account-so cash in hand) and deposited to a person at the cashier counter in a Natwest branch that was open on a Saturday.

That should be OK. Have you tried using the funds yet this morning?

If you had used an ATM it could be longer because someone needs to count and verify the cash.
