Has anyone tried to get 200 or 400 free texts? It's the same number to text, just different words.

You can activate this but they charge £9.99/Month for 200 text
and £11.99/month for 400 texts.these bolt ons are not included in free bolt ons.
    only free bolt ons are;
    Calls50
    Msg100
    'HOME250.
If need more texts then you can top up for £10 on o2 online sim.and you can get 300 texts free.

  • Greetz to Mohamid for all the great TIPS.... finally got the free Minutes, i hope this helps someone else. I went through quite a few sims to get to here....

If you have attemped to activate a sim and receved a message stating that your bolt on has not been activated for whatever reason the sim will not work, i have not been able to deactivate the bolt on to re-try.

I went through quite a lot of sims to receive the free 50 minutes (calls50)

I placed a sim in a phone, and registered it online... to receieve the 2.50 credit before i continue with attempting to activate calls50

after placing the sim in and registering online, i attempted to make a phone call , i heard a message from the operator saying that the credit i have is low, and then the call went through. accodring to various threads, this feature (or from o2s perspective a bug with the system) is only availble for 12-24 hours depending, you receieve certain amount of calls and messages for that period. I ended up using the lot and receieved a message telling me that i need to top up to make more calls. Every time i made a call within this time period, the operator was telling me that my call credit is low, but was always connected. Calls are made to UK only phones (land lines and mobiles)

The next day , the credit ran out, but after a frew hours was awarded with the 2.50 for registering online. I then went ahead and called the bolt on number and activated the calls50, next day , wow, 50 free minutes worth of calls for the month.

Id like to again Thank Mohamid for this great TIPs, and his constant help and assistance.

I had a go with another 2 sims. One has successfully had the calls50 bolt on. The other failed. I got this message:

"Your request for MSG100 has not been successful as your tariff is ineligible. Please call Customer Service for info on upgrading your tariff on 08705678678"

Still got £2.50 free on that one anyway. Seems that some work and some don't. I've got lots try out anyway.

Thanks everyone for your help---especially Mohamid.

i'm activating free Bolt On on my new sim now so i'll check it whether it's working or not.but u have to wait for some time for my reply cuz it takes 24 to 48 hour to activate it.

I got free mins. on the sim which i activated.so don't worry b'cuz free Bolt On without top up is still working.
if you get rejection msg from o2 then you should apply for it again then u will get it.same thing happened with me as well.

After reading this thread last week I thought I would try and get 50 free minutes on one of the free 02 sims that I have. I eventually got my 50 minutes after a week of trying and for anyone who is still trying then this is how I got mine.

I have several o2 free sims and have only tried to get the Bolt On on one of them. I first of all put the new sim in my phone and then chose the 50 minutes Bolt On by ringing 2425. I received a text back saying I needed to top-up before choosing the treat and once I'd topped up I had to choose the Bolt On again. So I registered my name and address online and received a text to say that my £2.50 free calltime had been loaded onto my account. I rang 2425 to choose the Bolt On again and was told that it was already activated so I made a call but it took it off my £2.50 free calltime. I waited a few days and tried to choose the Bolt On again but received the same message that it was already activated so I made another call and again it took it off my £2.50 free calltime (now £1.67). I then decided to try selecting the Bolt On by sending a text to 21300 instead of calling 2425 as I had done previously. I received a message back saying that my request for CALLS50 would be processed within 48 hours and 17 hours later I received another message to say that my free Bolt On had been loaded onto my account. I made another call and this time it didn't take it off my £2.50 call time so I am now getting the benefit of the 50 free minutes :j

whatever but each sim gave me exactly 50 minutes.as you said 'certain sim nos' but all the sims have different nos(They are not in serial).
Thanks for the tip MUHAMID. Can you tell me how you know that you have had exactly 50 minutes, is there a way of checking your allowance like you can check your balance?

    Hi EileenH,

Or whenever you put new sim in your phone you can clear calll timer and can check your outgoing calls mins.

call on 4444 then option 2 and 2.it will say you exact mins. and secs.
(you can also find out about your free texts and wap balance)

What happens if you go over the 50 minutes?
