Meat cooking cooking for dinner - doing sheppards pie but with a savoury cruble topping - kids will moan but it is what I fancy.

Not likely to bother with anymore flying today but plan to write a list for all the little jobs I need to do in town tomorrow before meeting friends for coffee.

Might get sewing machine out after tea to see if I can sew velcro onto sleeping bag for OH if I can I'll add that to my list of things to buy tomorrow.

Thanks for that jjef. The girls will both go to the after school club that is run in the same building as DD2 Nursery. Infact they will both know 2 of the ladies as they cover lunch club for Nursery. Went to see the Manager after school today and it has a really good ratio of kids to carers so happy with that, plus lots of activities for them to do. Same with the holiday club which I will have to book them into for a week. I know they will have a blast at that as they go swimming, dvd's & popcorn, craft and cookery sessions, discos etc.

Think I have got a lady who can cover the "funny" times in September, she is away for her week but with the help of her friends who are childminders they can cover it (fingers crossed). So weird as DD1 back to school 2/9, DD1 8.45 - 12 11/9, then pm session on 12/9 then 8.45 - 12.00 for rest of month. First full-time day is 29th Sept. Schools dont like to make it easy do they:confused: .

Just spent 10 mins in girls room so we can see carpet now. Hope to do a proper clean tomorrow. DD2 got playdough out so will hoover up after she finishes:rolleyes: .

All I need now is to be offered the other job and that will finish my poor frazzled brain off:rotfl: .

My tongue is sore too, dont remember doing anything strange to cause that:p . Cuppa me thinks and then think about tea.

MOJT - They must have had to throw it over the fence, have you check it? Is the packaging damaged? Like you say great that they put the effort in but on the other hand cause for concern.

I am proud to say that I have already done the bathroom to level 3 before I came on here!

I did my last gardening session for one friend this morning - she spent much time mock wailing that she doesn't know what she's going to do without me! I feel a little bit guilty, but really want to concentrate on teaching, and have the rest of the time to do my own gardening - and flying of course!

I rang my agency today and had a chat about the timetable I was given yesterday, and my co-ordinator said immediately that wasn't what was arranged. I doubt if she'll be able to do much about it, so I think I'll make a start in September, see how it goes, and then leave if I'm cracking under the strain. There was a maternity leave cover advertised in the local paper today, but full time... tempting though, as it is mostly French with a bit of Spanish if possible. Another one of the challenging schools though.

Must have a cup of tea...anyone else? :coffee:No biscuits leht though.

Will they take them in an afterschool club from P1? It would be really helpful for when i have late lectures:D

Ours will take DD2 now (she was 4 in June but starts school in September). I would give them a ring to check.
