Talk about creating a fuss about nothing! :rolleyes2
Strawberries and strawberries where ever they come from. I actually think the Cornish and USA strawberries are better than British ones. The british ones tend to go off quicker and don't have as much flavour.
But hey i wouldn't really notice or indeed care when picking them up for £1!!Mortgage as Sept 2012: £96,000
Mortgage free: When i'm 39 / Sept 2023
Mortgage repayment = £588

Is Cornwall not part of Britain anymore then??
You can get nice and awful stawberries from anywhere - including USA & including Britain, essentially it's the variety that determines the flavour. But what's the point of importing fruit (of any kind) when it's actually in season here - and cheap too!0 -
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0

Check the country of origin before you buy. My Asda had most of them from Holland, and a few of them from Scotland. I bought the Scotland ones.0

They are by far the best I have bought/tasted this year!
Great buy for £1.0 -
