    Hi kelbly
Just wanted to wish you good luck for your day tomorrow, I went last Monday and was really nervous but it is alot less informal then I thought it would be and all the people I met at the court were really nice.
If you are claiming your £150 court costs back I'd take your last 3 months bank statments with you to be on the safe side, I didn't so had to pay on the day and then send them off to claim the money back.

    thanks,

I was wondering why i need 3 copies of the papers? I have to go to the library before I go, to do this.

The courts require 3 copies. You get 1 back with your BR order. I believe that 1 is then kept by the court and the other is sent to the OR. So unfortunatly you will have to pop to the library on the way to the court. Some people have called the court and they have done it there for them but like i say i would call ahead and ask

I know that feeling. Dont know if it helps but if you want to know what its like have a read of my story: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1012833

Hopefully it will take a few mins to read and your mind off it and this was only a few weeks ago.

I would say its a really interesting day but the weight off your shoulders tonight will be unreal.

    Hi,

that did sound rather painless, but alot of waiting around! My dad reckons he waited about 1/2 hour and it was all over and done with, I guess it depends how much is going on in court today

Yeah i agree. I think mine took longer because it was a drop in. I got there at 8am as i was told they could only handle 6 a day so best get there early but you could turn up for the drop in up until 10:30 so i guess they booked the judge everyday at 11am for BR's. It was quite relaxing as i went to the nearby Tesco and have a breakfast which was super cheap and bought a paper to read sat in the carpark so fair stress free.
