Hi Folks,
New to this Forum having just found it a week or so ago, there is so much money saving tips its great. Hopefully somebody can help me out.
I have got some cheap flights to Malaga booked for the 26th July to the 31st July. Im having trouble finding a cheap self catering hotel/apartment. I only booked the flights as it was to good to say no to. The party is 2 adults a 1 year old infant and a 3 year old toddler. It is a last minute thing so money is tight, trying to do it as cheap as possible bit still get a half decent place if possible. Not to bothered were we go as long as there are things to do and near a beach.
Any help you can give woudl be very much appreciated.
thanks and I hope this is the first of many posts

What is your budget for accom?"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0

Have a look on Travel Republic - there are quite a few "sale" hotels and apartments coming up for the 26th July. Mostly Torremolinos and Benalmadena. If you got Benalmadena you can get public transport transfer direct from the airport to save transfer costs! Not sure about Torremolinos transfer. Good luck!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Take a look at www.hotelopia.co.uk and use a discount code for 10% off (pm me for it if needed) and also go through Quidco for another 10% cashback."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0

thanks again for the info.
it is so hard to pick the correct place I have been on the review websites like tripadvisor etc but most of the reviews are all over teh place 1 person loves it the next hates it.
So my next question is does anybody have any good experiences in the resorts in costa del sol bearing in mind I have small children.
thanks in advance

Hi again - have a look at Nerja. Not so over-run with Brits (and lager louts!) and easily accessible from Malaga by bus. A friend has stayed at this hostal twice and loved it http://www.hostallorca.com/ Access to a communal kitchen where you can prepare a quick meal. However, it's only small and may not have a vacant room at such short notice. May be worth a look. Good luck! It's on my list of places to stay sometime!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
