In my town all the 'Mums gone to Iceland' over weight types eat in Pizza Hut, whilst the more health / body conscious 'holiday in Tuscany' types go for Pizza Express.

I'm gonna get some stick for this post..

There are 5 restaurants near us that we can't go to (incl. Pizza Express) because OH has acted on behlaf of a claimant in an employment case against each of them.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I can't work for the 2 biggest employers likely to employ my skillset here, because I've taken them both to court (and won) over data accuracy issues.
    It's a health benefit ...

That's true though. Pizza hut is 1/2 a step away from McDonalds. Pizza Express is pretty good.

I can honestly say i have never had a pizza from any of them nor a burger from burgerking and only ever had about four mclibels in my life....i hate fast food..

But i reckon pawnbrokers is the way to go....
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Pizza Express is not really fast food, more of a restaurant.

Digger Giant JCB Axes 500 Jobs
JCB revealed that orders had plummeted, leaving its forecast production schedule for the rest of the year down by 20%.
The group is seeing some continued growth in emerging markets, such as Russia, Brazil and the Middle East.
But it said this is not enough to offset the declines elsewhere and does not expect to see a recovery until late 2009 at the earliest.

That statement amazes me, freeview is fine - Sky is a luxury, and a pretty boring repetitive one at that

Sky have just announced their annual price increase:

    http://www.sky.com/Assets/PDF/StaticFiles/4396810.pdf

Up by 1-2 quid per month on all packages. Top package is a wallet-busting 47 quid per month plus I think another tenner for HD service. About 600 quid a year  That's a month's rent for many, or a month's mortgage payment if you bought when houses were affordable ;)

They really are taking the p***. Glad I quit them a few years back.

Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

We used to have Sky, in the olden days. I loved the Sky plus thing. Made me think I only watched a bit of quality TV as I backed up all this rubbish and watched it skipping through the ads.
Just meant I watched more rubbish really (2 hours of telly without ads is more programme) but haven't had decent telly reception for 2 yrs now. I gave up watching.............and waste time on the internet instead...here.....hanging out with the economists and wealthy.

But now I have discovered i-player...so get to see impt (to me anyway) things like the Primark Panorama and Mary Portas.

    And I started reading again.

So am now a mine of useful information that I read in a book.;)
