Cabin crew based at Heathrow Airport, where do you live?

Hi all, I'm gonna soon start house hunting, but have no idea where I should choose
. I am a cabin crew base at Heathrow, now live at Greenhithe, Kent, which is very close to M25 J1.
I prefer somewhere is quiet and peaceful, but also has easy access to Heathrow. My target is 150K-160K for 2 bed.
Any ideas, please?

With that sort of price range, I would be looking at somewhere round Hounslow way. Stay faaaar away from Feltham as its a bit grim round there. Not too sure though outside of the London boroughs."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

It's easy to say "Just ask your colleagues", but if I can really get the idea, I would not come here and post the thread. Well, some of my colleagues are renting inside of London because they don't drive. Some are living together with their parents cos they don't have to pay the rent. Some lives in Hertfordshire, Reading, Milton Keynes and Crawley, Some lives in Essex or Surrey or Brighton, some even lives in Wales and Scottland!
Hertforshire is too expensive for me. Crawley, I have been suggested not to live there... I don't know much about Reading and Milton Keynes.
That's why I have to get help from here!0 -
For your budget try searching around the following post code TW13 5** (Westbury Road, Amesbury Road, Marlborough Road, etc) which is in the better area of Hanworth in Feltham.
I am aware that with some people Feltham does not have a good reputation but this area is okay and offers good value for money. Bus 285 is a direct route to Heathrow and it should be noted that the M3 and M4 are close by. Another plus of this area is that it is not on the flight path.0 -
I wouldn't buy anything in the areas where you could afford - frankly they are a dump.
You could buy a small half decent flat in hertforshire though within your budget.0 -
