Help with Google toolbar not showing

Please does anyone know why the Google toolbar does not appear, although correctly downloaded in Internet Explorer? When I right click the menu bar at the top of the screen it shows the Google toolbar in the drop down menu, but it's light grey so cannot click to view it:confused: .

I want to be able to see my Google bookmarks without having to go to the Google site each time.

All help appreciated.

Yes probably. It's listed amongst the program files and as I said it appears as a possible toolbar in Internet Explorer only it cannot be ticked as it is greyed out. I just wondered how to make it active?

I think I have found it, in IE click tools -manage add-ons - enable or disable -
select google tool bar, which should be in the disabled list, then the select enable.
You then need to restart your browser and you should have your google toolbar
    back! :j

Esbo - you're a star!! Followed your instructions. It didn't appear automatically - I also had to right click the menu and tick the Google toolbar and then re-opened the browser.

    Thank you very much.
