Hi
I have a laptop which connects to the internet wireless, Since friday i have been unable to connect. It states that it is connected to the internet but it will not open any websites. My wife also has a laptop but her's connects. I have not changed or added anything for it to affect it. I have unplugged both the belkin router and the modem but this had no effect.
Can anybody give me some advice on how to get it back showing the internet.
Many thanks

if you are using Zonealarm Firewall then the last windows updates caused it
remove Zonealarm, get your internet connection back then download the latest version of zonealarmEx forum ambassador

Do you have Zone Alarm installed? If you do then this could be the problem.
Fix information is here http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/pressReleases/2008/LossOfInternetAccessIssue.html0 -
if not zonelarm then try system restore
