quick Q baggage thomas cook

just a quick Q, goign to Turkey 3 weeks today Yayyyy!! may sound silly to some, but i have a luggage allowance of 15kg each there is myself and 2 kids, can i combine this allowance for all 3 of us, say 2 cases with a total of 45kg, or will it have to be separate bags with 15kg each. ( sorry but their customer services is closed today)

Also when i spoke to my travel agent today, i asked about hand luggage, she said no electrical equipment it has to be packed in checked baggage, but just checked on Thomas cook site and it says mobiles camera etc can be in hand luggage, just has to be taken out to be scanned. Do you think I should go with what it sasy onthe thomas cook site.

    Separate bags with 15kg each

Mobiles and cameras are allowed in cabin, also laptops.

Safe trip and have a blast!

If you take two heavier bags you're likely to get charged for the bags being overweight; stick to three lighter bags!

Confirm the weight limit - I've just returned from USA via Manchester and the limit is 23kg per bag - each passenger is allowed 2 checked bags plus hand luggage.

Never heard of a 32kg or a 30kg weight limit before.

Hi have taken this from the Thomas Cook website (we are travelling with them too), you can combine as long as you do not exceed 30kg weight in one suitcase.

Passengers wishing to share a suitcase can do so as long as the combined weight of the suitcase does not exceed 30kg.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

This is from the BA.com website

A 23kg(51lbs) maximum bag weight applies and you must be able to lift the bag into the overhead lockers in the aircraft cabin unaided.

I guess it depends on your carrier - best check with them to be certain

I know this may sound like a silly question, but i keep forgetting that their customer services closes at 5 pm arrgghh.

I did not pay for an extra allowance each. it says on each of our tickets 15kg.

does this mean i can have a bag of say 20kg, mine and my sons stuff combined, and another bag of 15kg my daughters stuff, and it will be ok?

If your allowance is 15kg each as you state in your original post then any weight over 15kg will be charged as excess weight. The fact that your total is less than 45kg is irrelevant.
