HELP with monthly insurance!

Hey all

my insurance is £2000 per year

but im paying montly

I have to pay a deposit of £400

and then i pay the rest in 9 installments (£177)

but does the deposit cover the first month? so then i would have to pay the first installment £177 + deposit £400. or do i just pay the deposit to cover the first month?

Thanks!

when you pay monthly it is normally over 10 months so in your case 1 month at £400 and nine months at £177 so the deposit covers the first month
