Hello

I kind of need a bit of help with editing a photo. I need to make it between 600kb and 1200kb, but I have no idea what that means. The website is not accepting the photo I have tried to upload - the properties of the photo say it is 187 KB (191,636 bytes).

Can anyone help me decipher crazy computer speak so that my photo is the right size please!!

Thanks in Advance

Jo xx

(p.s - Part two to this question is coming up, but I probably wont post until tomorrow for that one!)

and no more than a file size of 187kb for uploading...?

Errrr... Im not sure to be totally honest. The website just kept rejecting the pic and said that it must be between 600 and 1200, (I dont think it was kb tbh, it was at lexmarkprintertest.com anyway) and I dont know what that means. My photo file size is 187kb, I made it bigger and it rejected, and smaller and it rejected.

Ive just tried to log back in there though, and it wont let me, so i think the websits is a bit duff!

Part 2 of this thread is:

My second question relates to the epson a2 print offer ive seen. Ive got my pic ready, and the requirements are: A2 420mmx594mm 180 dpi 2976x4209 .

Im currently using Nero photosnap viewer to edit the sizing of the pics, but have access to a variety of photo editing programmes on my other PC. Do I simply change the picture size to 420 mm x 594 mm, or is it more complex than that?

If you could give me an idiots guide to editing that pic id be very happy (and willing to download whatever programme necessary to change it properly!)

    Thanks!
