Basically two ways - Green Line bus to London (probably get off at Finchley Road for the underground) then tube/DLR. No idea on the coach fare but it will be cheaper than the train - the Underground will be £5.30 (I think) for a zone 1/2 off peak one day travel card, £1 for kids.
Or train to Euston then underground/DLR. There will be a one day travelcard from Hemel - but not the £1 kids offer, just half price.
The train will be more frequent, run longer into the evening, etc
The rail station is just about walkable (??15-20 mins) from the Travelodge but you may prefer to drive and park - the bus station is quite close0 -
thanks dzug for prompt reply0
