Car rental - specify fuel type?
Are there any car rental companies out there (preferably the more well known ones) that allow you to specify whether you want a diesel or petrol car in the same way as you can specify car size?

I would think thay all would, if you tell them you want a petrol and thay cant give you one go somewhare else.we use a lot of hire cars at work(pratical car hire) and thay must all be diesel as we have our own tanks0

National at Heathrow operate the Choices scheme which allows you to pick any car from a particular section of the car park. They always have a mix of petrol and diesel.0

This is actually a great idea, one I've never thought of too much really. I recently used 121 car hire to book my car rental, and being a diesel man myself I ended up having to get this sorted over the phone because I was unsure what car they would book for me.0
