Switching nPower tariffs with moneysupermarket.com

Just a word of warning - I tried to change nPower tariffs through moneysupermarket (to get the £30 cashback), and all the correspondance (including the confirmation email) from moneysupermarket said this was OK.
BUT - IT'S NOT!
NPower sent me a letter telling me that as I was an existing customer, it wasn't possible. After talking to them, they reconfirmed that the only accept new customers through moneysupermarket.com.
Since then, they have allowed me to go on the fixed 2011 tariff, but they also said that moneysupermarket are sending out wrong info - so beware! I doubt I'll see the £30 either.
