    Thanks Kika,

Well I went to CAB couldn't get to see anyone but they have arranged for me to have a home visit as i can't get in and out of the city centre a lot.

Had my hand checked on and its soft tissue damage and should be fine.

Received a letter from welcome finance today and they say they are processing my request for CCA does that mean they have it? Eeeeek.

    Good afternoon.

Welcome sent me a letter this morning and enclosed was my signed CCA agreement, so my debt remains and is enforcable, however on the CCA was two amounts one for Life Assurance and one for PPI. Having had a read through the site I have written a letter to try to reclaim the PPI and insurance which will hopefully reduce my debt slightly.

Had an appointment with my new GP this morning and not only was he really helpful and supportive but he is drop dead gorgeous. Witwoooooo.

Bus fares have gone up again - it might only be 30p but when you are counting the pennies it is a lot.

I have to go to physio now but shall be back later.

    Ikkle x

Sorry for all the emoticons but I am so annoyed I could cry. I'm very peed off and its a good job that i haven't been able to get through to Welcome Finance as I have a few very specially chosen words for them, mainly expletives.

The CCA agreement turned up yesterday, all looked fine I though and then on Night Owls I mentioned how much I owed and how much I had borrowed. A couple of them were shocked and Smashed suggested I go over to consumeractiongroup. Well it played on my mind all night and so then this morning I decided to look at the CCA in more depth:

In Nov 2006 I took out a loan of £2000 (£132 @ 24 months) then in April 2007 I asked to borrow £900. I thought it was a seperate loan but that they would only be taking 1 direct debit as that is what I was advised. I was told my payments would now be £217 for 36 months. A huge increase for just £900. The 2nd loan had PPI included which I wasn't advised about but have waasn't covered due to my medical problems. Now looking at the CCA it seems that it wasn't a 2nd loan but actually a consolidation plus £900. Which is not what I wanted. So now I am seeking advice on what I can do because I do believe loan was mis-sold.

I got my new book from Amazon today, a freebie technically because I did reviews on B-View and earnt a £10 voucher. Got a pot of cream through the post from Avon for free and a postcard to say there is a parcel at Sheepscar for me but the poster hasn't paid enough postage. I paid the postage so should be here on friday but will probably be a load of tat knowing my luck right now.

    Hi Ikkle.

First time I've popped into your thread, and I have to say well done. Just hope you manage to sort WF out as that sounds really naughty of them.

I wish I'd thought of the title of Ikkle, although you have beaten me on height. I'm only 6ft (been that height forever, which isn't fun at school and trying to get a boyfriend.....he had to stand on a rock  ). My ickle sis is taller than me though, but I guess smoking stunted my growth!!

Anyway good luck, and I think I might join you for the xmas for free challenge. Luckily my in-laws are paying for us all to go abroad for xmas......I love them!

    x

PS I hope it goes well with your Dad. I have a very tentative relationship with mine that's slowly getting better too.

Hi Katy thanks for popping in. I've always been known as ikkle Never have been ikkle though lol. My ex was 5ft 6.

I just got told that CCA regulations are a bit different for my agreement with welcome as it was signed after April 2007 so have put up a new thread. I am still waiting for someone on CAG to get back to me though x

Am currently really upset and fed up. Im not sleeping very well at the minute and combined with that i am in a lot of pain lately. People see that i am fat and think it is cos i am lazy and eat too much but neither is true. I eat really healthy and see a dietician every month and yeah i might not be super active but thats not through choice its because i struggle physically but peopkje cant see what happens on the inside. today a guy on a bicycle rode past me and shouted that i was a fat b*stard. And tbh its pushed me over edge. i am tempted to top up on pain killers and hit the gym regardless of the damage i do to myself. Just fed up sorry x

Hi Ikkle - just spotted your thread.

Sorry you had to deal with an ignorant !!!!!! today and I know that it is easier said than done to ignore stupid comments.

Dont do anything at the gym or increase your painkillers without seeing your doctor first - its not worth the damage it may do. Tell him how you are feeling and make sure he listens.

You have nothing to apologise for - big hugs hun x x

Hey ikkle, some people are just rude, ignorant and stupid and it sounds like you came across one of them today. Just ignore the pillock.

Look after yourself, your mental and physical health are way more important than what others think. And get your butt back to the doc to get your anti-depressants sorted. Hope things get better for you soon.
