Where's the cheap beer?

Help! Has anyone one with a PhD in maths worked out where the cheap beer and lager is this Christmas? Is Nettos still the cheapest for Stella at £2.99 for 4 cans?

Aren't they 20 bottle packs now? They've been crafty and reduced the no. of bottles in the packs.

France isn't as cheap if you live in Yorkshire....
Netto are doing 20 330ml bottles of Stella for £7.99 from Thursday 18th November for £7.99 - quite a lot cheaper than the Sainsbury and Tesco offers.
Price per litre works out to be about £1.21 (for all you geeks like me who work out the price this way for consistency)
    Max 6 per customer.

  • Have you ever thought of making it yourself?...don't laugh :)

I've started making home brew again after a gap of 17 years....the quality of the good kits is phenominal compared to the awful stuff that used to be available..

You can make 40 pints of beer that is as good or better than the stuff you can buy for around £15

I got 4 cases from Iceland online. I used a £10 voucher off £40+ and got £3.25 cashback from Rpints (sic) too, so net cost of £6.67 for 20 33cl bottles.

Not as cheap as France, but didn't need to leave my armchair. ;)
