Egg with positive balance confusion

My stoozing has been reasonably successful since I began at the beginning of this year. However, I have a question about my Egg card. I used it until the interest free period ran out, so it now has a nil balance. I will use it again in Feb, for the anniversary offer.

I have just been accepted for a Nat West card, and I intend to transfer what I can to my Egg card, thus putting it into a positive balance, prior to stoozing it.

Sorry if this is such a basic question, but how do I transfer it from Egg into my savings account? On the website there does not seem to be a way of doing this. Am I going about this in the right way-is this what using the card as a mule means?

You need to do a super balance transfer to your current account and then from there to savings. There should be an option under balance transfers.

To ensure it goes through, you may want to transfer the balance from Egg before the money arrives from Nat West and pay a few days interest. Egg can get a bit funny about positive balances, although most go through fine.

Or get an egg money card, where you can go positive & they pay you interest.
