best place for october hols?

Hi, as the title says...... where's the best places to go on holidays abroad with kids in October? Looking to go the last 2 weeks, with a 6yr old and baby so obviously want sun and heat but not thinking ameriaca or long haul. Were thinking it'd have to be the canaries or egypt?

Any suggestions?

Thompson are offering apart-hotels in Greece from £2 a night.
We booked one that was £4 per night for half term week.
We got cheap out going flights with Thompson and return with ryanair.
all in all we got a week self catering for £368 for 2 adults and one child.

AI in Turkey? We went last October and it was hot and the hotel was not too busy. We had the pick of the sun beds all day!

Turkey is lovely we went last october for two weeks and it was 500 between three of us.

We went to Tunisia in mid October - weather was hot (28-30+) and the flight was about 3 hours. We had a great time.
