Advice on installing radiator (plumbers) PLEASE!?!?!?!

Hi folks,

If any plumbers are reading this, I wondered if you could give me an idea of what i should expect to pay to have a small radiator (about 60cm) fitted to my box room?

There is central heating in the other rooms (landing, master bed and son's room) but none in the box room at the front of the house, which is next to our master bedroom. in the middle of the landing and between the master bedroom and my son's room there is the big old boiler. (not a combi) Also, we can't afford a new boiler, so will it still be poss?

Or am I better off getting an electric heater wall mounted and pluggin it in?

Any advice would be welcomed!

Many thanks in advance!

We were charged £120 for extending the pipework then fitted radiator ourselves. All in I reckon you would be looking at about £250.

System will have to be drained down which take most of the time.
Running pipe work and connecting up a new rad around 1hr

You are looking at half a days work prob around £175-£200 mark.

I would try a low wattage panel heater first to see if that heats the room sufficiently.

PS get one from Argos and If its not good enough take it back under the 16 day money back guarantee
