Do you mean you want to give your PC away, or advertise its sale for free?
If the former, you could try to give ot to a charity shop (Age Concern etc) - some of them will be delighted to take it off your hands. Or take it to a carboot sale.
If the latter - your local supermarket may offer free ads on their in-store ad boards.0 -

No charity shops will be happy to take electrical equipment, it has to be certified before it can be resold (This can cost more than the item is worth).0 -

You could try putting a card in the front window of your house or if you use a newsagents window they usually only charge about 20p.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

My husband saw a postcard ad in our local corner shop window for a PC for sale. He rang the number, and went round to see it and bought it there and then. The people selling it cant have paid more than 50p for their ad and got a sale. The computer is working fine, at my husbands workshop. He did not want a new one, as it is a workshop and would get dirty quick, so really happy with this one. By the way, how much do you want for it?keep smiling,

I'm in Reading so it maybe a bit far for you? i'm asking a very ambitious (almost unlikely to get) £170  .
here is the spec:
AMD 1.0Ghz Processor, 512MB RAM, 64MB nVidia GeForce graphics, 20gb HD, DVD-Rom, 2x USB ports, Windows XP SP2, MS Office Pro 2003, 17" CRT monitor, keyboard, optical mouse, speakers, Epson Stylus printer, Mustek 1200dpi scanner.
could someone give me a rough price for this PC spec? browsing some of the freeads, this price isn't outrageous but is it still too high?0
