Who makes the best head units in your opinion?
I'm after a new one and would like some opinions!
I used to have a Clarion, which was great, and then I bought a JVC, which I have been less impressed with.
I'm looking to spend around £100.

What do you think?0 -
That doesn't look bad and with 6rca 'outs' its upgradeable if you want to use some amps.'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0

Budget CD based head units, I'd be looking at Alpine. Also, if you can find end of line models you might get a better deal (as I did for Mrs Throbbe), or consider second hand?0

I've always sworn by Pioneer but I tend to buy the high-end stuff. Alpine are also good but there isn't much in it.
Remember that upgrading the head unit isn't always enough. Most cars have pretty bad standard fit speakers and to get the best sound from the head unit, you may need to upgrade your speakers too.If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
I've decided to go for this:

Does anyone know anything about this company? I can't find much information about them anywhere!0
