Last Minute Cheap Holiday

Hey guys.
I'm looking to book a last minute holiday, from around the 25th August 2008, for a week minimum. I can go a few days before this, but must be back in england for the 1st September. I don't mind where, as long as it's hot. From London Stansted, Gatwick, or Heathrow. I don't also don't mind booking up until the day before, it's for 1 adult, 1 child. What's the best way to go about this?
