Club Direct Travel Insurance Warning

I have been using Club Direct for my travel insurance for 10 years because they were so helpful when I had to claim. When I had to claim this year the whole system has changed. They use a company called 'Claims Settlement Agencies Ltd' who completely screw you. They take forever to assess the claim, use an 0870 number (but can never put you through to the right person), date all correspondance falsely to look as though they respond in time, and finally make a paltry settlement. If you replace a lost item with something much cheaper ( hard not to in Greece ) then they discount the cheaper price by 10% per year. For example if my expensive purse that was 4 years old cost £50 - & the new one cost £20 - they give you £13.12 not £32.80. Same with my camera, my bag etc. Totally unfair. When I complained to Club Direct I was passed on to the 'Professional Travel Insurance Company' who ignore all complaints and say that 'the correct deductions have been made'. I for one will not be using anyone underwritten by PTIC or using the dreadful Claims Settlement Agencies Ltd'.
