Moved from pc to apple mac & I would like to know how to save bookmarks onto a file.. With pc-internet exployer you could save the favourites all onto one file.
This is so that I can back them up & store the file of bookmarks on my memory stick.
Thanks

Go to the File menu and choose "Export Bookmarks"
This works on Safari 3.1.2, OS X 10.5.4

Install the Foxmarks extension in Firefox then it will sync up the bookmarks on any system you use.0

You don't need Foxmarks - it's just a tad "unobvious".
Go to Bookmarks -> Organise Bookmarks
In my FireFox 3, there are five buttons on top of the bookmark list in the window that'll open. Use the rightmost one with the five-pointed star and it has a menu entry "Export HTML".0 -

Thanks. my version of firefox does not have that icon so I will ask my partner to upgrade to version 3.“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson
