Good quality affordable B & B in Windemere?

Hello,
I'm planning a weekend in the Lake District :j , but want to find a good place to stay in Windemere, does anyone have any places they can recommend? We don't have a car so it'll have to be something that's easily accessible from the train station. There's lots of B & Bs in the area, but I find sometimes one with higher star ratings are less nice or the same as ones with lower star ratings. Word of mouth is always best! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you looked to see if there are any recommendations on www.therealvisitorsbook.co.uk - I think it's mainly self-catering but there may be the odd B&B recommended in there too.
