i have a 7 pin s video connection on my laptop and want to play films on my tv (toshiba 2857db). the tv has scart slots on the back (with s video written above the slot) as well as a 4 pin s video slot on the front , with rca inputs for audio.
what lead/s would i need to buy to be able to see and hear the films (in best quality)?
my laptop has hdmi output slot but ive found out that will only work if my tv is digital (which it isnt). also am i right that a svideo to svideo lead is just for picture, and i will need another lead to go from my headphone minijack on the laptop to the rca inputs on the tv?
thanks
