My jobcentre and benefits folks must be different because they know I have an online bank account and have allowed use of downloaded statements.0

We used to send stuff locally (somerset).
Now it gets dealt with in Cardiff (which is actually in another country :-)
So maybe it's different procedures.
I have asked them to clarify what "verification" they need and told them how ICICI bank work.
Their letter is not very clear really.0 -
Also ask why they want statements to be such a high a standard?
Bet their answer will be "because of the verification framework".
Well guess what, the verification framework doesn't exist anymore - DWP removed this so all Local Authorities should have there own local policy.

Thanks for the info.
I have asked them to clarify exactly what they want, whilst at the same time asking them for a reference to the law that obliges banks to provide that information.
Their letter is rubbish.
I'm not an idiot but "verification" is not clear.0
