Handy for carpetbaggers who are in low paying accounts and worth ditching the standard regular saver for.

Move money in before money is moved out from an existing account.

Thanks, BLF
That's much better than the 3.1%** I'm currently getting on an old Super Saver account. So I've just opened the account on line.
Mind you, it is variable (except for the 1.55% bonus) so it could be down at that level before the year is out!
** think it may be 4.7% !0 -

True N+P accounts are poor, Ive been in its standard reg saver for 10 years which is only paying 4.70% so handy to ditch the 20.00 a month commitment. :j0 -
For those on the 8% Fixed Family Regular Saver like me, after year 1, the rate becomes variable dropping to 5.5%.
I intend to make a withdrawal after year 1 leaving £100.00 in the account and reducing my regular monthly payments to just £1.00.

Also, I will be closing my Super Saver as soon as the interest and Bonus has been paid in November.0

Thanks.
I have opened an account online; very simple and quick application.0 -
Obviously as the rate is a 'good' one for 12 months only - there is a single year's bonus - after which the rate drops. I agree £100 held in here is better than 'out - and even the 'go to' rate is slightly better than the 'Netmaster II' thingy I am using to back up temporary cash at the moment. Also £100 without the need to add to monthly is a boon for BLF

(No mention of a 'linked current account' there - the usual way these accounts are set up to operate?).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -

Think weve all agreed that N+P savings rates are on the whole dire.
Applying online required very little more than personal details, didnt even ask for any existing account numbers or current account details, said would get an email detailing how to fund the account. ( not had it yet 12 hours later) also said would get something by post within 10 days or so.0 -
My 6.2% fixed rate ISA with NPBS, which accepted a transfer in from an older account, is hardly what I'd call dire...0

Congratulations for being in the right place at the right time.
Less than a month after the launch of that rate, fixed rates at NPBS are back in decline.

I've opened and arranged to fund this ESaver. However it is a variable rate account - though the bonus is guaranteed, I don't think the base is so it may well come down to a rubbish rate before the year is up.0
