I couldn't find any other threads about this so I thought I'd start one. Sorry if this has appeared already.

Did you know that you can save thousands on new Vauxhall's and Saab's if you or someone in your family works for a Vauxhall "partner" company? The list of partners includes ASDA, BT, BA, John Lewis, Royal Mail to name but a few (the full list runs into several a4 pages).

For example, if someone in your family works for ASDA's you can get a 15% on a new Vauxhall Astra, PLUS you can have a 0% finance deal or a further £2150 as a finance contribution - this makes a saving of around £4,500 on a £18k car!
:j

OK - I'm ready for the abuse about owning a Vauxhall... :naughty:

Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.

Do still checkout the online car brokers, such as www.broker4cars.co.uk, www.drivethedeal.com, www.dealdrivers.co.uk, www.carfile.net, as I do find sometimes, that they offer a better price than the associate scheme (I am CSMA member) and you can still do the 0% finance, as they normally pass you onto a vauxhall dealer.
  • I recently went to buy a Vauxhall Insignia in Ellesmere Port, I was registered for the partners program by my friends brother.
The Dealerships saleman knew this accepted my order and deposit and when leaving gave me some partner forms to fill.
Needless to say when I realised I would have to commit fraud with pen to paper I could not, stopped the purchase and lost my deposit £250.
A good scheme if you don't have a sense of right or wrong I later bought my car using the swappage scheme and a better discount.
    Was I hoodwinked ???
