I have just applied for the second one as not a Nat West customer, but it does say that payment has to be from a natwest acc when applying online for an e-saver ,as I accidently went into that option first ?0 -

I didn't think it DID say that -- because I opened one on-line yesterday evening [not had the paperwork yet, obviously] & I don't remember that restriction. Anyway, I'm about to try & open ANOTHER ONE in my wife's name v.shortly so we'll see what it says THIS time!Expect the worst & hope for the best...0 -
I saw this offer a couple of weeks ago at my local branch and when I enquired I was told that it was for new accounts only from reading your comments I am under the impression this is not true can someone clarify this for me.Make £5 a day in May total so far £20

I understand the confusion, you can only make online payments from a natwest account..0

Received my papers today. Two questions:-
1. Who does the cheque have to be made payable to?
2. I read on the second page they said that they may use credit searching agencies. Does this mean they will credit search me and will it affect future credit?0 -
I think only the INITIAL payment to open the account has to be from a Natwest a/c (or cash/cheque), the regular payments can come from any bank account.0

That is not true. It says clearly you can pay by cheque but doesn't state who to make it payable to.0
-
I guess it was to be made payable to yourself, which is usually the case. My Id was rejected (payslip doesn't have my full name???), so I'm waiting for the next docs to be approved and hence dont know whether its correct or not.0

Thanks to OP and Martin for bringing this offer to our attention.
Free £50 for moving £100 back and forth electronically for 12 months - great!!
I've applied for e-saver requesting the £100 regular payment to come from my external current account on the 27th of each month (just after payday).
What date would you recommend is the earliest I should transfer it back from e-saver to my current account each month bearing in mind Feb will be a short month (hope to do it by a S/O from e-saver to external current account if possible)?MS Stalwart.
