How can I have messenger installed but not starting up every time I logon ?
I've checked its not in startup yet it still starts automatically, I only want to use it now and again, any advice ?

when you are logged on the messenger it is under "Tools" then "options" then "general"
untick all the boxes under the sign in section (4 in all
