with SCSI master drive can I add a IDE SLAVE DRIVE?

I have an old ('97) computer with a 2G SCSI master drive. I wanted to add a slave drive to increase its memory, which is a 3G IDE drive? Can this be done, please? Can it be done fairly easily? I will be happy to answer any questions if you need more information.

Whats a 97 PC? To my knowledge there was never a 97 PC
unless you meant you are running a PC with Office 97...

If you tell us the make and model of your PC we can say whether it's capable of taking an IDE drive.
As it already has a SCSI interface why not add another SCSI drive instead? You can get them off ebay for around £5.0
