Sofa from Klaussner stitching come away

Can anybody give me advice?

I purchased a sofa from Klaussner in 2005, I bought the multimaster guarantee. The stitching that is across one on the seat cushions has come undone leaving a gaping hole. I have contacted Multimaster and they say they are not responsible for it as the guarantee only covers damage to the leather, the stitching is structural. They suggested I contact the administrators (Klaussner have gone into liquidation), they say nothing to do with them.
I have also contacted the finance company who we are still paying - they say nothing to do with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have I got a case against any of these or should I just give up and pay for it to be repaired.

Any advice much appreciated.

create a tear in an unseen section of the sofa and get them to come out to fix it?

what does the guarantee actually say you are covered for?
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

If it cost more than £100 (which I guess it probably did) then the finance company are jointly liable under s75 of the consumer credit act - don't let them fob you off. You may have additional rights with the multimaster guarantee but unless I saw the t&c's I couldn't comment - go after the finance co.
