Another question!
Does anybody know if there is much difference between prices if you were to buy a kitchen through b&q as a normal customer, compared to the trade section? And can you buy sale kitchens in the "trade" area?
Thanks.

The trade discount card gets you a 10% discount on kitchens. Then if you spend over £1000 you get another 5% rebated.
I don't know how the card works properly as it's only just started and I've not long signed up. I haven't noticed any discount at purchase time but I think all the discount comes in the form of a cashback cheque. I've spent enough to get my 5% so we'll see what arrives!
I've not used the Trade Desk as such but I think they organise bulk deliveries etc a bit like Jewson rather than make all the products cheaper. I dunno thoughEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I don't know yet. I bought a sink in the sale so we'll see what kind of rebate I get for that.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It seems a bit of a confusing system to me, so didn't bother with it, for all our work here.
Instead of giving a straight % off stuff, it is more 'offer on this product, this time' & something else next.
They do have some really good deals from time to time, on general items - buy 5 bags cement for a huge discount recently.
Doesn't help with kitchen answer.
But you;ll not get it there anyway - you'll be down to Ikea instead, I hope.
See other kitchen threads!!

You could try Howdens, they used to be the MFI suppliers for kitchens. They can be a bit fully about non-trade but just blag it as self employed kitchen fitter.
Their discount system is a typical builders merchant setup too, overinflated price list then massive discounts, also they have been known to match and beat the likes of Wickes & B&Q.0
