What do I need?

I want to buy a 19-22" LCD TV/DVD player combined (TV with freeview) for our conservatory. We don't have anywhere to plug an aerial so what do I need to buy in the way of a portable aerial to make everything work?

TIA

You would be better to rigg a permanant outdoor aerial suitable for your area. You also need to know if freeview signal would be available. Or go to Argus and buy an indoor aerial and try that but you need to "hide" it, I would go for the first option.
  • Havent known anyone who got really good reception on freeview with a small aerial, although it depends on your location, for full reception you really need an outdoor aerial ;)

He's trying to achieve a watchable picture on a television which has a Freeview tuner.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

Thanks for all your replies, and you're quite right Leopard, I want to sit in my conservatory and watch a tv (with freeview channles), but I don't have an outdoor aerial connection and was wondering if it was possible with just a portable/set top one. Our other telly which is in the lounge has got freeview and reception is good.
Thanks mdbarber for the suggestion, will take a look at that aerial.
