BA flights-fuel surcharges?

Hi,
We have just booked flights for 3 adults from london to south africa for november, we paid a hefty fuel surcharge on top of the flights and other fees and taxes. I know if you book a package they can make you pay more for the fuel nearer the time of your holiday but will BA be able to charge us extra nearer the time or is it only travel agents? Thanks in advance

Everytime we have booked tickets with BA and paid the current fuel surcharge at time of booking, then they have increased the fuel surcharge they have NEVER asked us for more money to cover the increase.
Currently about to file my claim for some money for the BA fuel surcharge refund.
**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
If you have paid in full on the BA site and they have issued the tickets they will not come back and ask you for money.
And ignore the information about the fuel surcharge refund, that's irrelevant in your case.0 -

Not at all. It could be confusing as it's irrelevant.
Still, take it how you like!0 -
