Amazon Marketplace - Wrong prices

Hi

Yesturday I went on to Amazon.co.uk to search for xmas prezzies and I found a few items that were dead cheap on the marketplace section. I thought it was too good to be true so I phoned up the people who were selling the goods and they said all the prices for their items were wrong!

Luckily I didn't order any items but it sounded like many people did and created alot of work for the sellers in terms of refunds!

So if the marketplace seller's prices are wrong can they refuse the sale and refund people? What are the law guidelines with private sellers?

Thanks

Kevin
