Hi,
Yes I definately would - in fact I considered emailing you with my details as I'm in your area... but one of my friends husband's is in exactly the same position, so he's going to do it and give me a book of photos and a CD as a wedding gift.:T0 -

Brilliant! That is such a lovely present. My friend is getting married next year and i might offer to do the same although I think she wants a pro :embarasse but I could maybe just take some of the moments the pro misses. It all works out good in the end.If it's not good, it's not the end!0 -
I think this is a great idea, I haven't arranged any photographer - I will put cameras on reception tables, get copies of guests ones, and get my dad to do a few outside the registry and on the beach. I would be interested - whereabouts are you based?:money:0

sorry I couldn't help - I am assisting at weddings this year and have another 6 or 7 to do so i will get lots of practice. Once I've got that under my belt I am going to look to do a few small weddings for free single handed and see how that goes. It's a very difficult thing to do as it's the most important day of our lives and I need to be 100% sure of my skills before I let myself loose!
Good luck with your wedding - not long now! It's nearly our first anniversary and I would love to press rewind and live the day again. It all works out good in the end.If it's not good, it's not the end!0 -

I wouldnt give your copyright away, I would word an agreement to state that they can have a disk of images for their own use, but copyright remains with you as the photographer.0 -

Hi Karen
Your photos are fabulous! :j I think the only thing you lack is belief in yourself! Go for it - Your first solo wedding will be nerve racking but with images like that I believe you can do it.
As a professional photographer I was in the same boat as you, and it took me a long time to actually go through with it, the stress and nerves nearly killed me :rotfl: but I'm so glad I done it.
Good Luck and remember if you don't believe in yourself - how can you expect anyone else to!!!!0 -
Hi Nell - thanks for the encouragement. My hubby has been telling me for a while to just get stuck in but I am very cautious (no idea why!). I have just upgraded my kit and have a amazing camera and some very good lenses now and I think this will lift my game a little. Can't wait to use them all together! I am shooting my first wedding solo next April for a a friend and I am also shooting the guys getting ready at another wedding so my toe is in the water.....I just want to jump in!It all works out good in the end.If it's not good, it's not the end!0
