it's a mucky old world in rock n roll lol. He was seriously misquoted though, he is far from just a roadie :)

Oh and edit to add, he isn't gutted at all, he couldn't care less. It's just the mirror paid him 8k for the story :rotfl:

    AAGGGGGGHHHHHH just need to vent

My dad and I have pretty much a non relationship despite my efforts to keep in touch. He lives 4 miles up the road, but we never see him. The last time I saw him was at my wedding 10 months ago. Of course he can run up to Norwich every month or so to see my brother.

Anyway, I called him last month and said that we'd have to arrange a date for us to come over. I said that I would pencil in today but I wasn't sure because of work. Well, seeing as it is T weekend and I have been run off my feet, plus hubby is flying home later today and I will have to drive to the airport and pick him up, I decided that today wasn't a good day. So, in the week I left a message on his machine to say that I'd need to reschedule.

10 mins ago I got a call asking where we were, I said I'd left a message. He said, no you didn't and ranted on about how we might have let him know as he's got everything ready. Then he said, well, I'll call you sometime to rearrange, but don't hold your breath, and hung up. Nice eh.

F*** I don't even know why I let this crap get to me.
