Can anybody offer some advice.
I posted here the other day to say when I tired to log in to Hotmail, it just opened new windows on a loop.
Now I have a further problem, which may or may not be connected.
When I go online, within a few minutes my desktop starts to flash blue, and the tool bar also start to disapear.
The process light is runnning very fast and you can hear the system running.
I a running Kaspersky and ran a check and it found nothing, I have also run crap cleaner, again this had made no diference.
Typing this is very difficuult as the compter appears to keep set off the start button at the same time as the desktop turning blue.
Can anybody help.
Thanks.
Martin

If possible try running a spyware scan (Kaspersky is good but not every product picks up all infections).
If you can download Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware then i'd recommend scanning with these to see if they find anything (both have free versions).
SuperAntiSpyware - http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html
MalwareBytes - http://www.brothersoft.com/download-malwarebytes.-anti-malware-71406.html
Hope this helps.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
You could try doing a 'System Restore' to a time before the problem started. You can lose a loose goose.
You cannot loose a lose goose.
Get it? Now use it before you lose it.
or - Try using it - not losing it.

this may not be connected at all and may sound daft, but I had something very similar and running any programme was difficult as the start menu kept flashing on and off as well.
Mine turned out to be the windows key on the keyboard had in fact broken and was going loopy. I found out pure by luck0 -
MalwareBytes anti malware iis a good shout, directions on how to install and set up are below;
Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.
alternate download link 1
alternate download link 2- Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
- Double-click on Download_mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
- When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
- When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
- Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
- Then click Finish.
- MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan. If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself. Press the OK button to close that box and continue.
- If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
- On the Scanner tab:
- Make sure the "Perform Quick Acan" option is selected.
- Then click on the Scan button.
- The next screen will ask you to select the drives to scan. Leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button.
- The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
- When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
- Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
- Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
- Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
- When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to restart your computer. (see Note below)
- The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
- Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.

Thanks to everybody for their suggestions.
I have followed everything here, downloaded all the the Anti Spyware programs and a lot has been removed.
Special thanks to Reluctant_Spender, I had just finished all the suggestions and thought all was ok, and then it started again.
I dowloaded the Malewarebytes program and it found even more problems, so those have now gone, and so far, touch wood, everything is much better and is running smoother than it has done for ages.
I am annoyed though with Kaspersky. I run the full suite and thought I would have been safe. I did a scan this morning, in safe mode, and it found more than 12 Trojans, and I thought I was protected, it appears not.
I suppose, I will have to run the Anti Spyware Programs on a regular basis and make sure Kaspersky does a full scan each week.
Unless anybody can suggest anything I have missed.
I run Vista Business on a laptop.
vbmenu_register("postmenu_12424321", true); Thanks again
