National Letting Agent

Am looking for recommendations for letting agents that operate nationally, as we have houses in both Notts and Scotland to let out, and would prefer the same management agency to a) potentially reduce costs as often agents give deals on 2nd and further properties and b) only have to deal with one company for simplicity.

I'm currently planning on using Belvoir! , does anyone else have any experience or use a decent company?

    Decent management agency?

    That's an oxymoron.

If you value your investment you have to manage your own properties, IMVHO.

Belvoir are franchises and therefore you will effectively be dealing with two companies so look into what they offer first.
  • Can't manage it myself - work has forced me to move from Fife to York, and partner is moving here from Nottingham. We're both too far away to manage them, and the market isn't right to sell even if I wanted to what is in my case, a home we intend to live in when I finish current training contract in 3 yrs, and in partner's case her pension. I've tried managing mine from here for almost a year, and it's too stressful and expensive to be driving 5 hrs at a time to get to it, I can't show tenants around either on account of having a full time job with unpredictable hours. None of it is ideal, but govt meddling with medical careers combined with personal circumstances has forced the issue.

Are there any that aren't franchises?
