Hi There
Today, DH called into Somerfield and 6 mini pork pies totally yellow stickered. Really good value but because no freezing instructions he didn't buy - we are going away over the weekend.
I remember way back buying Bowyers frozen pork pies and they were fine. Could he have bought these today for the freezer?

Hi GB  There's an older thread here - freezing pork pie. The person who tried it found that it worked
I'll add this thread to that one later.

Thanks PenPen
The answer is, yes buy the yellow stickered stuff! The pastry might not be quite up to scratch but to get more than half price reduction great!.
