I know, but we all do it and it does help, and usually we are not all down at the same time

i see people and they see me i sit and wander do they see the real me or just the facde that we all project, the few people i have allowed to see the real me have kept me at arms length. So i keep myself to myself and sit and wander why i cant have what the other people i see have. I see them all laughing joking and smiling and think what have i done in life that i deserve to live like this.

You sound alot like me doh, but by putting on your facade, you keep going and if that works for you, then so be it.
But lots of people feel as you do, and some live in this little vacuum, letting people see only a little of the real them, dif bits to dif people, it makes them feel safe. But sometimes it stops them getting help and support, because how can people give it if they don't know it's needed. ( and I am one of the worse culprits for this too)

I do it to keep others from the real me so they don't have to deal with my issues, o well sleep tight and i will be on tomorrow for sure but for now i shall finish my bottle ans finish reading sun tzu the art of war or dante's divine comedy unsure yet as to which, not sure it's wise reading philosophy in my state lol but o well .
