Calling all you night owls part 2

My mil had a cockatiel land on the washing line one day when she was hanging out her washing, she caught him and took him inside out of the way of wild birds.
She put notices up in the local newsagent and post office, but no one ever claimed him and they had him for years before he went to the great cage in the sky (her words not mine!)
Perhaps you could look in a charity shop for a cage, you sometimes see them in there and they shouldnt be too expensive.:D

It was a terrible shock pam, I think everyone felt the same, things were very subdued here yesterday:o
But one thing it has proved is what a great lot of caring people there are here, i was reading the posts last night and ended up in tears at all the caring things that were posted, us huggies are not just in the "Owls" methinks;)

I didn't know them very well, but it was quite a shock.

I've made sure that everyone that I hold dear to me know how much I love them. Things like this just bring it home don't they.
