    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone help me. I've got an 8k student loan. And about 30k ish in savings. I know the argument is don't pay it off until you have to, but I kinda like the idea of being debt free. What would you guys do? I'm thinking if I get made permanent, I might pay it off then, and start topping up savings with wages again. Hmmm. Any suggestions?
Don't know much about student loans, but OH has been having £45.00 taken out of wages, they decide how much not him, and in a year he's only paid about £35.00 off so I think he should get it paid off as soon as he can afford it, if yours is still 0% leave it but as soon as it's not pay it I would

I would probably just pay it off personally, I know all the arguments for making money on it but if it is annoying you then sod it.

PS well done on the savings!!

  • PS HWGA, Sadly student loans are never 0%, they rack up interest from the minute you recieve the money, most people think they're interest free, but it's set at the rate of inflation. All a bit of a con really!

    Night xx
