2 tonnes? what are you doing with it?very handy tip by the way, thanks for that.x
We're re doing our drive and back garden so we need lots. I wouldn't have thought of contacting a quarry but the OH knows someone who has done the same thing so we gave it a go. As long as you ask for washed you don't get all that dust you normally get with dolomite so it's exactly like gravel.

Its really quite simple, its not up to the users to decide who, what or whom are trolls or spammers this is up to the MSE team and the particular manner of posting by the person starting the poll is not acceptable either, in my opinion :)

but surely anyone posting anything abusive should be stopped from doing so?i agree everyone is entitled to an opinion, but abuse is something else entirely,if im honest ive not read into this particular situation,(which i probably should before having an opinion on it)however,im posting/voting to voice my opinion regarding abusive posts and nothing more,i know nothing of the posters in question as i dont frequent that thread,as you can see i stay with night owls and OS grocery as its lighthearted which is what i feel it should be,i hate to think of anyone feeling they cannot post but think they should think before posting anything offensive, hope you understand what i mean.

A "debate" between individuals with conflicting views is one thing but deliberately posting offensive and hurtful comments to those who are usually already at a low ebb is another (I'm sure MSE can distinguish between the two). How many posts have we seen were a person is on the edge and in need? How many times has a "troll" responded to those individuals? They cause maximum damage with minimum effort and I for one would hate to think that someone was severely hurt (mentally or physically) by some of the comments I have seen over the past few months.
