It would appear that MSE need to re consider there breach of terms and conditions action as this forum is now open to anyone opening an account, posting as they wish and once, IF they get there account deleted they are free to open another and no thing is done about is.

I seriously wish MSE would bring in IP blocking and I am considering starting a poll, anyone know what section to post this poll in?!
It would prevent trolls, users who wish to cause trouble and so on.

    Any views would be great.

    Hope everyone is well

I appreciate what you are saying and just went over to have a very quick read of the thread. It does sound like a bit of a troll situation which does happen very regularly.. ...it is very annoying but I think the best thing is like you have done, hit the abuse button, email the board guide and ask for the posts to be deleted. Trolls typically get bored after a while if their posts are ignored and then deleted. Its only once someone rises to the bait that things get out of hand. I would always ignore a post from a troll, absolutely no point replying. Shame that someone is considering leaving over it though and hopefully if the posts are deleted, they can come back knowing that they are welcome on the boards and their posts are valued....well done to Caroline for trying to keep the peace too!!!

Got another 2 tons of dolomite coming in the morning....that'll be fun:D at least it's at a reasonable hour this time though.
Oh here's a moneysaving tip for you all...If you need cream gravel for your garden, contact a local quarry and ask for some washed dolomite it's just the same as the cream gravel you get from builders merchants no difference at all infact. I've paid £16 per ton plus £10 delivery (per ton) compared to well hundreds of £'s :j

It is disappointing that it appears that MSE are not taking the issue of trolls or "upset" posters seriously, they really need to do something because I dread now coming on here as there is always someone either posting nasty comments or otherwise and it ruins it for everyone.

MSE PLEASE review your terms and conditions!!!!!!!!

I totally agree. It's not right that long standing members and others for that matter should feel that badly they decide to leave.
If there was to be a poll would it be made forum wide or only isolated to the DFW board (I'm not sure how it works)? My personal thoughts are that if everone was given the chance to vote more could be done and MSE may stand up and notice.

I will start a poll now in DFW I will shortly post the link to it and ask anyone who wishes to view it, should MSE wish to move it to the correct area that is there choice
