24/7 Electrical

I purchased a cooker on March 11th from this Co. It was delivered damaged - I sent it back - they sent another one - damaged again so sent that one back. The carriers they use are a bunch of cowboys - Hi Way Express!!
They agreed to phone me before they delivered so I could arrange for someone to be in - they didnt do it and then tried to charge me for a failed delivery !! After many phone calls and emails I finally got my refund on 3rd July. I was never offered any form of compensation and when I mentioned this in an email they said it wasnt company policy or in there interest to do this !!! I will never use this company again and if you do this is a warning as to what you might experience. BEWARE !!!! I eventually purchased one from Comet - ordered on the Friday - delivered on the Weds. - no hassle - no damage !!!
I'm away to have my dinner cooked on a nice new undamaged cooker !!

I feel better now !!! :j

    Well, congratulations on your new cooker! It took long enough!

    But - and I hate to sound like Mr Brooker, Tim or dmg24 here... - what kind of 'compensation' were you anticipating?
  • Well maybe compensation was the wrong word, a little gesture of good will like some cash for all my phone calls and the hassle of getting a plumber to connect the cooker up, then he's not required. However all in the past now, must look to the future, well my tea anyway !!
